HomeMaking Lives Better
There’s no denying it. The state of English in the country is declining. Although recent SWS survey results did show a slight improvement in English language proficiency this year, experts warned Filipinos not to be complacent. Much needs to be done. All over the world countries strive to improve English language proficiency of its workforce because English gives people an edge over others. English is the lingua franca of business, internet, science, the arts, and education. It’s how the world communicates. If Filipinos learned English now, more people would have jobs, the Philippines would maintain its attractiveness to foreign investments, the economic situation would improve, the people of this nation would be empowered. Life here would be better.
